We are delighted Awen is being launched off the back of the best Welsh Government Tenant Satisfaction Survey Ratings achieved as MHA!
The Welsh Government’s published results show that every one of its 12 tenant satisfaction measures improved compared with last year, and their ranking improved across all 12 measures.
Some of the highlights include …
- Overall satisfaction increased to 92.7% and is the highest we have ever achieved, placing us joint 3rd in Wales,
- Trust in MHA rose to 88.6%, making us joint 2nd in Wales.
- Ranked 1st for rent value for money
- Joint 2nd for repairs and maintenance.
Awen is proud to attain such high rankings in categories historically achieved by much smaller specialist housing associations.
Gwyndaf Tobias, Awen Group Chief Executive said:
Results like these don’t happen by accident. They reflect the commitment, professionalism and care that colleagues across the organisation bring every day, whether working directly with tenants, maintaining their homes, delivering support services, handling enquiries, managing projects behind the scenes or providing vital back-office support. Every team has played a part in this success. What is particularly encouraging is that some of our strongest improvements have been in areas where we have deliberately focused our efforts over the past year. Listening to tenants and acting on feedback, improving perceptions of service charges, and strengthening our approach to anti-social behaviour have all shown significant progress.
Ann Cornelious, Awen Group Chair added:
The results provide a fantastic legacy for MHA and a very strong foundation for Awen’s future. Combined with recent positive regulatory judgement, they demonstrate Awen are entering this next chapter from a position of strength, while remaining ambitious about how much further we can go. These results represent thousands of tenants telling us they value the services we provide, trust us as their landlord and recognise the positive difference our work makes in their lives. This is a genuinely outstanding achievement and one that everyone at MHA should be proud of.
