Got an idea that could make a difference in your community?

Throughout the year, we open a range of funding opportunities to support local projects and activities, including Community Benefit Funding (available in specific areas), Pitch for Your Project and Corporate Sponsorship. Check back regularly to see what’s currently available.

Community Benefit Funding

We’re proud to work alongside generous contractors who don’t just build homes – they help create happy and thriving communities.

Our contractors’ contributions go beyond bricks and mortar, they invest in our Community Benefit Fund (CBF), laying the groundwork for positive lasting local impact.

Our CBF is here to give back to the community and support projects that make a real difference. Whether you’re a community group, charity, school, or not-for-profit organisation, if your work strengthens community connections, creates opportunities, or enhances the lives of Awen residents, you could be eligible for funding boost to support a new or existing project.

Pitch for Your Project

What is Pitch for your Project?

Pitch For Your Project (PFYP) is an annual Monmouthshire Housing community grant scheme, where projects that are passionate about building stronger communities and having a positive impact on Awen tenants, are able to apply for a share of £25,000. The project must have an objective to deliver a wide range of benefits to the community such as economic, social, health and wellbeing, educational or cultural.

Who Can Apply?

You can apply for the opportunity to Pitch to our judges if you are a community group, not for profit group, health body, charity or school. Your project must first and foremost be of benefit to Awen residents. The projects must meet the objective of helping create strong communities, improve services within the community and also increase people’s aspirations

Corporate Sponsorship

Are you involved in a group or event based in Monmouthshire that could benefit from some sponsorship? If so, we may be able to help!

Through our Corporate Sponsorship Scheme local groups and events in Monmouthshire can apply for up to £1,000 in sponsorship.

All you need to do is complete the application form found below and if it meets our sponsorship criteria, then we may be able to award some sponsorship – simples!
