Awen Homes is delighted to welcome Steve Porter as our new Director of Property, joining the organisation in September 2026.
Steve brings more than 20 years of senior leadership experience in the housing and property sector across Wales. A Chartered Construction Manager, he has led large-scale, customer-focused property and maintenance services throughout his career and is passionate about creating positive working cultures where staff can thrive and frontline services deliver what matters most to customers.
Steve believes that keeping people at the heart of Awen’s mission will be key to the organisation’s continued growth and success in the years ahead.
Steve joins Awen at an exciting time for the organisation, following the transition from Monmouthshire Housing Association to Awen Homes on 28 September 2026.
